It melted these cheap plastic knobs that I thought were stainless steel. I purchased new OEM knobs at considerable expense and they broke off at the stem slowly but surely. I tried "youtube" vids on fixing this problem and that didn't work on a third set of knobs again at considerable expense.

The range itself is great if you are ok with having no knobs and using pot holders to turn the burners on while your kitchen looks like crap. How can you abandon your fans so callously? Five knobs and you could have kept a customer for life.

The replacement part did not fit and I had to purchase a different knob in a different color which was my only option to get a properly fitted knob. Now my far left knob's plastic insert is broken and I have to somehow find the proper fitting part. The top stove itself is great. The oven floor is weak.
